application area:
Arrangement of insulating waterproofing of underground and embedded structures, indoor premises of buildings, enclosed balconies and verandas, protection of metal structures from corrosion, application of rolled bitumen materials.
application method:
- Mastic is applied with a putty knife, a paint roller or a mop at the ambient temperature that varies from -5°С to +45°С. At the temperature that is lower than +5ºС, mastic should be conditioned in a warm space for 24 hours at the temperature of no lower than +15ºС.
- Before use, the whole volume of mastic should be thoroughly mixed. If necessary, it can be diluted with white spirit, kerosene oil or solvent petroleum spirit.
- The working surface should be dry, pre-cleaned from dust, dirt, snow and ice.
- It is important to wear gloves when working with mastic. Contact of the materials with eyes and skin is to be avoided.
